About Shell Leaf Beardtongue

It is commonly called Large Flowered Beardtongue. Tubular lavender and pink flowers adorn the single stem of this plant. The leaves have a waxy surface and are oriented opposite each other. Native to the eastern Great Plains, Shell Leaf Beardtongue prefers well drained light to sandy soils in full sun. This perennial blooms late May through June. One packet contains 4 grams.
