About Hoary Vervain

a.k.a Wolly Vervain, this short lived perennial can grow 2.5 to 3.5 feet tall with light blue/violet to pinkish flowers atop floral spikes.  The leaves are light green to gray and commonly feel fuzzy to the touch.  It is adapted to a wide range of soils and environments and is often found in overgrazed pastures as livestock do not favor it.  This species is excellent pollinator habitat and should be included in mixes for that purpose.  Spreads by seeds. One packet contains 3 grams.
