About Alsike Clover
Alsike clover is an extremely winter hardy perennial clover. It can often be short-lived, lasting 2-3 years. However, it is well suited to poor climates and wet soils. It will even tolerate some flooding where alfalfa and red clover would not. Alsike can also survive in acid soils. Many times it is seeded with grasses in mixtures for hay or pasture.
