About Redtop

Redtop is a perennial cool season, sod-forming grass that finds its home on wet, poorly-drained soils and will tolerate frequent flooding. It will grow in acid-type soils and is moderately salt tolerant.

Acceptable hay or grazing may be acquired by grazing or harvesting before the flowering stage. Redtop is not aggressive in mixes. Spring or fall seeding.
